The City Hall flag has been lowered in memory of George Beer. Long-time Thurlow Reeve, George served on Belleville Council from 1998 to 2006 and was a Councillor in Ward 2 at the time of amalgamation. Our deepest condolences are with George’s family and friends.

The City of Belleville is seeking individuals to assist with the 2018 Municipal Election that is  being held on Monday, October 22, 2018. Municipal Election Workers Needed

Trail at Lions Park closed due to flooding. Riverfront Trail remains open at this time but closures are anticipated. Please exercise caution along all waterways.

Beginning March 27, Front Street (from Bridge Street East to Dundas Street East) will be under construction as the City completes the final phase of the Downtown Revitalization Project. Detour signage and construction crew members will be in place to direct drivers and pedestrians to their destinations.Access to parking lots and businesses will remain open during construction.

During construction City Hall will remain open & there will be no change to City services or hours of operation. Access to local businesses & parking lots will be maintained & The Farmers’ Market will operate as usual.
