The Approvals Section of the Engineering and Development Services Department is responsible for the review and approval of the following development applications:
- Plans of Subdivision;
- Plans of Condominium;
- Site Plans, and;
- Committee of Adjustment (consents and minor variances)
For assistance with any of the applications noted above, the Approvals Section welcomes your questions and inquiries. In addition, outlined on the following pages, and through the links provided at the top of this section, is further information on each of these different types of applications.

Trail at Lions Park closed due to flooding. Riverfront Trail remains open at this time but closures are anticipated. Please exercise caution along all waterways.
Beginning March 27, Front Street (from Bridge Street East to Dundas Street East) will be under construction as the City completes the final phase of the Downtown Revitalization Project. Detour signage and construction crew members will be in place to direct drivers and pedestrians to their destinations.Access to parking lots and businesses will remain open during construction.
During construction City Hall will remain open & there will be no change to City services or hours of operation. Access to local businesses & parking lots will be maintained & The Farmers’ Market will operate as usual.

City of Belleville - Parking Restrictions
November 2nd 2017 until April 14th 2018
NO PARKING ON ALL CITY STREETS
From 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
In accordance with the City’s Parking By-law, overnight parking on all city streets is prohibited beginning November 2nd and continues until April 14th.
Parking Control Officers wish to thank all local motorists for their co-operation in complying with overnight parking restrictions.
